Fingers Crossed
The Recent Ramblings of my mind……

All of the thank you packages for those who pledged for the Cure 4 the Kids Foundation have been mailed out. Thanks again to all of you who have pledged, posted info on your blogs and Facebook, or tweeted about the Foundation.

The kids have all decided what they’d like to be for Halloween.
AND
I will be sure to take pictures

On top of the crazy baseball schedule, bowling has started back up for the kids. This just makes our Saturdays even more chaotic!

13′s last infusion didn’t go as well as we hoped. She hadn’t been feeling well for a couple weeks prior so we were suspecting something was off but weren’t expecting her hemoglobin and white cell count to be as low as they were. It had been months since they’ve been that low. She ended up having to be infused two days in a row. Despite the fact they’d been holding back on steroids because of her other endocrine issues, they ended up having to give her two doses so the infusions didn’t put her in the hospital. It was a rough couple of days and she has to go back on the 27th. She is really looking forward to Halloween so we are hoping she will be well enough to go trick or treating.
Fingers Crossed.

I haven’t been doing very well with keeping up on tweeting and posting to Facebook because of everything going on. I kind of shut everything off. My goal is to try harder. You guys crack me up and I need a laugh every now and then.
*******
I was able to keep up on reading all of your blogs through my internet crisis. I read them all from my phone. I didn’t have the time to comment from my phone but I did read you all.

I am way behind in sending a couple of care packages out to some fellow bloggers and for that I apologize. Life happens and I just haven’t managed to get a grip on some time to get it done. It may be REALLY late but you will get a package from me eventually (you know who you are)!

I am planning on exchanging Xmas cards with you all again. It was really exciting to do it last year. Anyone who is interested in exchanging Xmas cards with me, make sure I have a mailing address for you. You can email it to me (I’ll post about it after Thanksgiving).

And….
I got an award! But, we’ll save that for another post.

Muah!! Love you girl!!
Love you too!
No matter what happens, we love you Jill! And ofcourse I will send you another Christmas Card this year!
I look forward to getting it
My oldest daughter once had a costume like the the one your 13 chose. It came out really cute! I’m sure 13 will look adorable in it. And your others as well, in theirs.
I am sorry 13 is struggling more. I will continue to keep her in my prayers. She’s one tough cookie.
She definitely is. Thanks Deb.
I made a costume like what 13 wants years ago … kinda wish I still had it so I could pass it on.
And speaking of 13, give her a big hug for me. I agree, she’s a very strong young lady and I’m sorry she’s having more crap tossed her way.
I’ve been really bad about sending out Christmas cards the last few years but am determined to do so this year … and you guys are definitely on my list!
I had so much fun exchanging Xmas cards with everyone last year. I will give 13 a hug! She changed her mind about her Halloween costume and we ended up buying something totally different.
Well do tell … what is she going as now? And you’re posting pics after, yes? *begging*
Love me some numbers
Let’s exchange turkeys! Lol just kidding
My kid’s going to be a banana
A banana? That’s freaking awesome!!!!! We saw the banana costume at Halloween City and all the kids loved it. U have to text me a pic
She rocks!
Hey, your family comes first. We’ll all be here. Miss ya when you’re not around tho.
I miss everyone when I get really busy. Sometimes I don’t realize how much I’ve actually missed you all until I come back
Girl, I am sooooo lat eon the car package thing, I keep telling myslef to get in gear but things have been crazy hectic so….I’m with you. I really hope your little lady gets to feeling better and that Halloween is a great time for all of you. Personally it is my favorite holiday. I’m going as the bearded lady, I’ll take pics. It’s a pretty lazy costume but that’s all I have energy for this year:)
You have to take some pictures and share! I love your costume idea. I usually dress up with the kids but didn’t have the energy last year.
You deserve the Red Carpet just for you ability to deal with your own illness, not to mention all of you children’s wants/needs.
Sorry 13′s infusion didn’t go well
There is nothing worse than worry about your child.
Have (another) epidural tomorrow. Last time -before the first back surgery- did nothing and ,my co-pays are killing me. am underwater. Back degenerating faster and faster.
Another surgery -one of the most invasive of any type- palreadty advised by the neurologist.
I only thank the stars that my daughter is healthy!
Am sending good health, family love and good health to them, huge cash windfall for baseball, and laughter to make it all keep you going,
xo
