If you are looking to gain some inside knowledge of Las Vegas, there are a few ways you can go about doing that. The easiest way is for you to interact with the Las Vegas locals who are in the middle of it all.
If you are wanting a “behind the scenes” view of Las Vegas with an uncensored opinion of the people, events, food, and places to see, then you want want to start in the transportation industry. Cab Drivers, Limo Drivers, Doormen and Valet get to see it all. If you have a twitter account, there are a few you should follow. They share their experiences on the job, make you laugh and/or gag, and most will take the time to answer your questions.
HackingVegas is my hubby, a cab driver here in Vegas, and I suggest you go to him first if you have a question. He usually knows the answer and if he doesn’t, he will find a way to get it. I get most of my local news by checking twitter, rather than waiting for a story to air later that day.
